How it works
Pawpad is a launchpad for pump.fun coins that fund an animal fundraiser. This page explains what happens to the money at each step.
The short version
- Someone picks an animal campaign on GoFundMe or JustGiving and launches a coin for it from their own wallet. The coin is a normal pump.fun coin.
- In the launch transaction, the coin's creator fees are assigned to the Pawpad treasury through pump.fun's fee sharing. The launcher receives none of them.
- As the coin trades, creator fees build up on-chain in the coin's own vault. They are claimed into the treasury and recorded per coin.
- The claimed fees are converted from SOL to dollars and donated on the campaign's own page.
- Each donation is posted on the coin page and on the Receipts page with a picture of the receipt from the fundraising platform.
Which campaigns
A coin is tied to its campaign by the coin's website field, which is set to the campaign link at launch and stored in the coin's metadata. It cannot be pointed at another campaign afterwards.
Fees
How fees are locked
pump.fun lets a coin share its creator fees through a fee sharing account that lists who receives them. Every Pawpad launch is one Solana transaction with these steps, and if any step fails, none of it happens:
- The coin is created on pump.fun.
- Its fee sharing account is created. From then on the coin's creator fees collect in a vault that belongs to this one coin.
- The fee sharing account is set to pay 100% to the Pawpad treasury.
- Your first buy, if you added one.
The fee sharing account is managed by the Pawpad launch key, not by your wallet, so nobody who launches a coin can change where its fees go. Claiming is permissionless: anyone can trigger it, and the fees can only move to the shareholders listed in the account, which is the treasury.
Donations
For launchers
You sign the launch with your own wallet (Phantom, Solflare or Backpack). Pawpad never holds your keys. If you add a first buy, those tokens are yours and you can sell them like any holder. You do not receive creator fees from the coin. Launching a coin does not make you the organiser of the campaign, and the campaign's organiser does not need to take any action to receive donations.
Check it yourself
- The treasury address is .... Every coin's fee sharing account on pump.fun lists it as the only shareholder, at 100%.
- The launch key is .... It is the admin of every coin's fee sharing account, which is how this site finds the coins: they are read from the chain, not from a list we keep.
- The coin's website on pump.fun is the campaign link.
- Each donation has a receipt picture. Most platforms also list the donation on the campaign page.
No guarantees
A coin can earn very little. Fees depend on trading volume, and many coins never reach the smallest donation. Coins launched here are not investments, and buying one is not a donation: only the creator fees are donated, not the money spent on tokens. Pawpad is not affiliated with GoFundMe, JustGiving or any campaign organiser.
